Europe on a Doorstep Results

The project «Europe on a Doorstep» was funded with the support of the European Union under the Programme "Europe for Citizens", under Strand 2 – Measure 2.2 "Networks of Towns". From our organisation participated around 10 participants.

6 events have been carried out within this project: 

Event 1:

The event involved 50 citizens, including 33 participants from the city of Marco de Canaveses (Portugal), 2 participants from the city of Sofia (Bulgaria), 2 participants from the city of Legrad (Croatia), 2 participants from the city of Trikala (Greece), 1 participant from the city of Asti (Italy), 2 participants from the city of Daugavpils (Latvia), 2 participants from the city of Bitola (North Macedonia), 2 participants from the city of Zlotoryja (Poland), 1 participant from the city of Alba Iulia (Romania), 2 participants from the city of Belgrade (Serbia), 1 participant from the city of Altea (Spain).

Location / Dates: The event took place in Vila Boa do Bispo, Portugal, from 18/02/2019 to 21/02/2019

Short description: The aim of the event was to establish partnership among organisations, get to know each other, present and discuss the project and partnership plan, present the project to media and public, as well as agree on the future steps in implementation of the project.

Event 2:

The event involved 91 citizens, including 4 participants from the city of Marco de Canaveses (Portugal), 4 participants from the city of Sofia (Bulgaria), 4 participants from the city of Legrad (Croatia), 4 participants from the city of Trikala (Greece), 3 participants from the city of Asti (Italy), 3 participants from the city of Daugavpils (Latvia), 4 participants from the city of Bitola (North Macedonia), 54 participants from the city of Zlotoryja (Poland), 3 participants from the city of Tirgu Frumos (Romania), 4 participants from the city of Belgrade (Serbia), 4 participants from the city of Tallinn (Estonia).

Location / Dates: The event took place in Zlotoryja, Poland, from 23/04/2019 to 26/04/2019

Short description: The aim of the event was to train future community leaders, and develop activity plan for EU elections 2019. Besides that, the public sessions were organised. During the EU elections each partner organisation has implemented local campaigns, using the centralized campaign that was provided on the online platform, and do monitoring and research of this process, based on the outcomes of the event.

Event 3:

The event involved 98 citizens, including 4 participants from the city of Marco de Canaveses (Portugal), 4 participants from the city of Sofia (Bulgaria), 4 participants from the city of Legrad (Croatia), 48 participants from the city of Trikala (Greece), 4 participants from the city of Asti (Italy), 4 participants from the city of Daugavpils (Latvia), 4 participants from the city of Bitola (North Macedonia), 4 participants from the city of Zlotoryja (Poland), 4 participants from the city of Tirgu Frumos (Romania), 4 participants from the city of Belgrade (Serbia), 4 participants from the city of Tallinn (Estonia).

Location / Dates: The event took place in Trikala, Greece, from 17/06/2019 to 20/06/2019

Short description: The aim of the event was to present and discuss examples of good practices, results, feedbacks and experience from the research and implementation of local campaigns

Event 4:

The event involved 95 citizens, including 4 participants from the city of Marco de Canaveses (Portugal), 4 participants from the city of Sofia (Bulgaria), 4 participants from the city of Legrad (Croatia), 4 participants from the city of Trikala (Greece), 4 participants from the city of Asti (Italy), 4 participants from the city of Daugavpils (Latvia), 4 participants from the city of Bitola (North Macedonia), 4 participants from the city of Zlotoryja (Poland), 4 participants from the city of Tirgu Frumos (Romania), 4 participants from the city of Belgrade (Serbia), 55 participants from the city of Tallinn (Estonia).

Location / Dates: The event took place in Tallinn, Estonia, from 15/10/2019 to 18/10/2019

Short description: The aim of the event was to discover and discuss local realities, as well as to host Tool Fair by a local community council. Participants have prepared tools that can be used or which are needed for the work in the field of the project topic, visited different organisations, projects, institutions and communities dealing with the topic.

Event 5:

The event involved 121 citizens, including 4 participants from the city of Marco de Canaveses (Portugal), 3 participants from the city of Sofia (Bulgaria), 3 participants from the city of Legrad (Croatia), 3 participants from the city of Trikala (Greece), 3 participants from the city of Asti (Italy), 3 participants from the city of Daugavpils (Latvia), 3 participants from the city of Bitola (North Macedonia), 4 participants from the city of Zlotoryja (Poland), 3 participants from the city of Tirgu Frumos (Romania), 76 participants from the city of Belgrade (Serbia), 3 participants from the city of Tallinn (Estonia), 3 participants from the city of Ptuj (Slovenia), 3 participants from the city of Podgorica (Montenegro), 3 participants from the city of Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina), 2 participants from the city of Mandal (Norway), 2 participants from the city of Tirana (Albania).

Location / Dates: The event took place in Belgrade, Serbia, from 25/11/2019 to 28/11/2019

Short description: The aim of the event was to host participants, community leaders, representatives of community councils and other stakeholders from involved communities, and to provide them with an opportunity to present results of the project to the public, institutions, decision makers and other stakeholder. It has also included representatives of EU delegation, national EU integration authority, diplomatic corps, civil society, media and other stakeholder, together with the other citizens relevant for EU integration of candidate countries of the region.

Event 6: 

The event involved 40 citizens, including 2 participants from the city of Marco de Canaveses (Portugal), 2 participants from the city of Sofia (Bulgaria), 2 participants from the city of Legrad (Croatia), 2 participants from the city of Trikala (Greece), 2 participants from the city of Asti (Italy), 2 participants from the city of Daugavpils (Latvia), 20 participants from the city of Bitola (North Macedonia), 2 participants from the city of Zlotoryja (Poland), 2 participants from the city of Tirgu Frumos (Romania), 2 participants from the city of Belgrade (Serbia), 2 participants from the city of Tallinn (Estonia).

Location / Dates: The event took place in Bitola, North Macedonia, from 22/01/2020 to 25/01/2020

Short description: The aim of the event was to hold a complex evaluation of the project, its activities and results, as well as plan the dissemination activities and future cooperation among partners.
