Grundtvig Workshop în Gaziantep, Turcia

Our project Grundtvig Workshop on literacy has been approved by Turkish National Agency and It will be held in Gaziantep - Turkey between the dates of 10-17 November 2013.

All the expences (travel, food, accommodation and transport) will be covered by Turkish National Agency. The participants will buy their flight tickets and we will pay their flight costs when they come to Gaziantep during the workshop.

The language of the workshop is English. We have 20 participants from different European countries. 

Literacy is not only the ability to read and write, but also an individual capacity to put this skills to work in own life. Literacy is capacity to be active and motivated in learning, to put available knowledge into practice, to have skills to communicate and exchange own ideas, to defense own statements, to be confident with yourself, so to be skillful to understand the world around and to act.

Aims: 

a) To promote the trainers in literacy learning for adults and provide a platform for cooperation;

b) To motivate a wide range of adult people at all levels to engage in awareness-raising activities on literacy understanding and to encourage them for learning to learn and life long learning 

c) To implement exchange results into practice based on sharing the best experiences

d) To develop new and creative activities in life long learning and literacy

e) To make adult people/ citizens aware of uneducated people and their difficulties and needs.

Target Groups: 

Our target group is all adult learners in rural areas and neglected young people, Literacy Trainers, multipliers, volunteer adults, students, teachers, youth workers, working or dealing with adult education who are:

• motivated to teach or learn literacy 

• ready to build new partnerships and cooperation’s in this field

• able to communicate in English;

• resident in EU and EFTA Countries
